Painting Wheels

Im looking to paint my stock wheels black. What can i paint them with and how do i prep them (sanding? or anything of the sort?) andone done this?

Do what you want, but keep this in mind, if your nonpainted wheel hits a rock, root, tree, or anything else, it puts a mark on it but it stays the same color. Once you paint them black, if you hit something, they will look ten times worse.

Sandblast and get them powdercoated. It will last much longer than paint.
