need help wit title

:confused: ok im tryin to get a title for my 2000 trx400ex but i need the vin # but i cant find it i found the I.D # is that the same thing

The VIN should be stamped on the frame right behind the bumper. You may be able to cross reference the ID number to the VIN number though.

I'm 99% sure the vin number is on the flat piece of metal where the bumper bolts on to

i look at the little plat by the front shock but all it said is 200 trx400ex unlesss it faded out

The Vin # is located right behind the bumper on the frame itself. It will look like a small plate in the front of the frame between the two top bumper mounts. The number will be stamped in.
