Buy a new axle and hubs??? Worth doing in my opinion. Would be a nice upgrade too depending on what you got. Why the hell did this guy before you have to weld this nut on anyway?

Grind off the weld or heat to molten an twist off the nut.

ok i could grind it till it gets realy close to the threds and just put like a 10 ft pole on the tire iron and bread the rest off or i can bring it to school and use the torches there but wouldnt this like mess up the size and stuff since it would molten

Or... you could do both of what homer said. Grind as much as you can, then heat it up and twist it off.

Keep you flame small and just heat the welds. If you know someone good with the torches they shoud be able to blow off the weld only with the O. I have cut mufflers off without touching the tail pipe inside. GL

dosn't really matter welded or not welded.cut weld if you need to.cut it on both sides of the nut,use a chissel to help break it in half.
