Trinity Racing?!?!

Ok so I sent my cylinder there a few weeks ago to get a 440 sleeve put in. When I talked to him he said it was only going to cost 180 bucks to bore out the old sleeve and press in the new one and I had him drill and re tap for some heavy duty studs. First off he was bad at not returning my calls or I would call and he would say yeah Ill call ya right back and never would. Yesterday he finally called and it was done. Well come to find out he charged me 435 dollars!! He didnt say how much over the phone so I figured it was still the 180 we agreed on, I checked my checking account today and 435 dollar charge from there!!!! Sorry for the long message I just needed to vent. Has anyone else ever had problems with those guys? HIs name was Joe...
Im callin back today and b**chin about it because our agreement was 180, NOT 435!

Yea i would put a cancel payment on that 435, i think it cost me like $200 to re-sleeve and hone my 440 buy the HD studs and have them installed. I sent him the new sleeve though so the 200 did not include the sleeve or piston. That was with GT thunder

Well i called and asked how much it would be to have 440 kit put in and he said 180. I called and *****ed and he sent me an invoice of everything. Its bullsh*t! He didnt tell me anything else..

Yeah it sucks big time! I will NEVER send them anythig again. He would never return my calls or anything!

Another one to avoid is CT Racing. They are slow, do poor work and Allen Knowles is one of the most unprofessional business owners I've dealt with in my life.


GT Thunder on the other hand is top notch. I can't say enough good things about C&D as well, their customer service never ceases to amaze me.

I shouldve asked around on here first to see what everyone else thought about trinity but I just wanted to get it done. Well I learned my lesson I suppose. :mad:

Yep GT thunder was great they even post up what stage you work is in on there website. Never delt with C&D but they have responded quickly to questions for me on this sight in the C&D section

Ha well its supposed to come in on Tuesday so once I get it Im gonna call up there and really give them an ear full!!
