where do you guys put the key on 1st gen with a hood?

I saw this somewhere else on here and did it for mine. I took some 1/8 steel and made the plate like in the picture (sorry I had to do it in paint because my pictures are at home, but you get the idea...) and attached it the the bar clamps above the gas tank. You will need to measure the holes, but you get the idea from the picture

that first one was without the notch, and just pilot holes drilled.

Just down off the side of where the hood mounts. Mounted it right in the plastic.
