Stimulus Plan

Yeah so, Obama's stimulus plan was OK'd today. It calls for $500 break for singles, and a $1000 break for couples.

"The centerpiece tax cut calls for a $500 break for single workers and $1,000 for couples, including those who don't earn enough to owe federal income taxes."

So, the question is, what are you guys gonna do with your $500 dollars??? Me, I'm getting a full FMF exhaust. :)

I could be wrong but I don't think it will come as a check like the one you got last year. I think its an income tax break that will take off like $10 a week in taxes, and people who collect unemployment will get like an extra $10 a week.:mad: I didn't get anything last year because I am claimed as a dependent.

Yeah Im really not sure. Some guy at work told me he watched the news and they said we'd be getting checks again like last year. But so far I don't think Obama has said anything like that, so we'll see.

It is strictly a tax break! Everything in that plan is a tax break. You need to read the entire package. Also if you do pay taxes. You will not see any of it this year! It will be next tax season. But, either way his plan included NO money to be handed out like Bush did, except for companies.

Don't fool yourself and don't wish for free money. It is not going to happen.

Hey I actually got some more this year on my taxes. When I had them done. They looked up how much I actually got last year as part of the stimulus plan. They said I did not get what I should have and it increased my return by 150.00.

Sorry bro... I would have loved an extra 1,000.00 or so. Would have made some nice mods on the ATV or even helped the addition on the house.
Oh well. I would rather earn it than take it from him.

Actually, if he did give it I would have to go buy the exact thing that him and the brady bunch want to do away with. A few more AR's and other associated assualt weapons!
