The latest edition of Dirt Wheels mag shows the dunes across the U.S. The closest we could find to the east coast is Silver Lake in Michigan, beside Lake Michigan. My first time on dunes. Was cool, but honestly it doesn't offer much area compared to places out west. My buddy who's has been to Little Sahara in Oklahoma twice was bored in two days at Silver Lake. Was cool to watch the action, but quite a long drive for the amount of riding we did.

The guys in my area in south Jersey are riding at the sand plants.Plenty around to.
Forget the beaches around here.Very strict.

hey i have around 5-6 guys i ride with every weekend in south jersey. where we ride isnt legal but the cops dont bother us out here and we are allowed to park any trucks and mobilize out of my friends house in marlton/berlin area. if anyone is interested in coming out with us let me know. two sand pits and a boat load of trails.

Thanks for the invite.
It is very hard anymore down here around the sand plants and the woods where we all used to go..They have undercover pigs on bikes and quads that chase you through the woods and give tickets....if they can catch you that is!Have impounded a few quads.Real dick heads.

only been "chased" one time and we kinda sat and laughed at the cruiser while he went 5 miles an hour across the pit towards us and took our time gearing up. other then that i got stopped y a park ranger on foot and he said sooo im gonna walk this way guys you were heading the other way right?
