hey, i heard that ama is now alowing kids 14 or older to race on ama approved tracks..is this true because if it is, i will start racing next year just for fun and to ride the track...if anyone has heard of this,.please tell me....thanks...does anybody know if the yaphank track on long island is ama sanctioned? thanks alot

Yes it is true, but it is only for the 200cc 2-st and 300cc 4-st class. If you plan on riding anthing else you nust be 16 or older. What the ATVA did was to change the ages and the cc's for all of the youth classes. The larger quads being ridden by the under 16 will be addressed next year. If you go to the ATVA website you will see the changes that were made for the coming year.

yo thanks alot..that is so sick..i hope my track will have that class....if theres enough people..they might actually have it and i can actually race...thanks for all the info man

ahh finally good things are happening...now i just gotta wait a year...oh well,,if i find out yaphank is gonna do this class..thats a year to mod my 300..woot woot

do you guys know wher ei can get the info about ama and what theer doing like they hav ea website? i have to get my card in the next few months b/c im 15 (pretending to be 16) and gonna be racing the 4 stroke 400 class i raced last year but they just let me go out with the 250+ 4 strokes a few times

Lol, I think that wasn't the brightest idea you've had.... You're going to tell everyone (on and OPEN FORUM) that you are 15 and pretending to be 16 so you can race. That isn't the best way to fool someone man.

doesnt matter, ive already got it atva instead, oh and nobody knows who i am anyway? n i dont ride a warrior anymore so it'll b impossible to find out
