Apparently im a defect...

to make a long story short im a senior in HS and ive played baseball for my entire life. My soph year i effed up my shoulder really bad but i continued to play through that year, the summer, my junior year and though last summer. im a catcher so i would throw alot. Anyway i started throwing again after football season and i still had the same pain in my shoulder. i went to see a doctor about it since its been 2 years and still hasnt gotten any better. He told me to get an mri which i did and the MRI results came back and i have a Large Osteochondral Defect of the humeral head. WTF that means i don't know. its 1.5cm in diameter by .5cm in depth. The doctor told me to go see an orthopeadist about it. Anyone have any idea what that is? or even if ill be able to play baseball with it
