Moto-xperts tranny mod

I have on 06 trx and was wondering about the moto-xperts tranny mod. Do they cut back the gears or do they coat all of them. Anybody have this done & if so what do u think? Thanks

i know a lot of guys that have had this done. give toby a call and he will tell you what they do. whatever it is, they do it right.

It is not a coating, he actually works on the gears. I've had it done for 2 years and just had it done again on my 08. Everyone I know that has had it done has yet to have any tranny issues and that's with pushing some big MXP hp numbers.

do you recomend i have him do it on my 06 gears or should i just buy new gears and have him do those??

Call Toby and ask him on that. I know the 08 gears come stock with a coating kind of like Sparks does, you can see the gears are black. Also if your's have a lot of time it might not be a bad idea. I'm not sure what 3rd and 4th gear cost?
