Jetting headache

new 02 400ex toy.......416 12 to 1 je, full hmf system,stage 3 cdi, stage 2 hot cam, and a 04 450 carb........starts hard and pops bad on decel...seems to run good, but the popping on decel concerns me..
45 pilot and a 200 main jet and air screw about 2 screws out.... needle in the middle
any help would be great

sounds to me like your to lean b/c of the popping on decel.. trying moving the needle down a notch from the top that shoud make it a bit more rich.(so if your on the 2nd notch from the top move the clip to the 3rd from the top . Lean is bad so you may want to get the jetting thing taken care of soon.

the popping on decel could also be comming from your exhaust gaskets.they are made for one time use.do you know if there was new gaskets put in there when the exhaust was removed?

from what i've read trying to figure mine out (which is ALOT, lol), sounds like you need a fatter pilot. most setups like yours run a 50-52.
