Ice racing

I am planning on ice racing this weekend in the utility class-unstudded on my King Quad and was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to groove or sipe my stock tires. I know there is no specific pattern, but should I just sipe them or a combination of both? I raced in the class last year and took second, but second isnt good enough!!

EDIT: I already have a grooving tool, I just need some advice on what to take out.
