The marina charges $5 for parking and $5 each atv, motorcycle, gocart or snowmobile.

WOW we had alot of people on my lake last weekend. It was like a giant party on the lake. Hear are some pictures that I took over the weekend.



We have 2 ice racing oval tracks plowed on the ice.
one track is a quarter mile oval around an island and the other oval track has 2 1000 foot straight aways. Man you can get some speed on this track. I run up to 5th gear on the straights and run 4th through the turns.

I like the pics of the Can-Am 450 Backin' it into the corner!! Like poetry in motion. I also like how he has his clutch hand turned over to the under side of the bars! We do this sort of thing every and all weekend out here in the Midwest.

i actually got hurt yesterday rideing so i took today off.,.. but i did take a ride up to whaley lake.. yes its nice alot of quads sleds etc..but rideing on the ice should be free.. not have to pay to park ur truck and use ur quad on the ice....... it 10 dollars 5 for each
its not the money its mother nature who made the ice happen and i dont think we should have to pay to ride on the ice.. i can see parking yes.. but not to pay to ride.

Yes the ice should be free but it is a lake and the marina has the only public entrence and parking on the lake. I pay every time i go and I go 3 times a week. You are paying for parking and use of the boat ramp. I think it is fair considering if you park on the road and your truck gets towed,. That would cost over a hundred bucks.


We Hade alot of fun today on the drad track. I wish I took pictures. We Had over 150 vehicles on the ice and added a new drag track to the ice.

I love when people ***** about money for parking, or to ride on private property etc. Listen if you cant afford 10 dollars, you should not own an ATV. Think about it

FIRST OFF LOOK IT UP YOU *******.. ITS N OT PRIVATE ..
the owner makes you pay to use his slip i can see you dont no know about the law... my dad is a cop and basically he cant charge to ride on the ice.. so if he wants to play .. he will loose his right to own the slip there is no big deal but if you make one i can make sure i show up to see if ur registerd etc if ur not i will tow ur quad and let everyone else ride.....just to prove that ur an *******

What kind of Juvenal pabulum dribble is that? Does your daddy cut your hotdogs in small pieces so you don’t choke? I’m sorry because it is not like me to go down this name calling punk *** (like in donkey) crap, but that was one of the most pathetic responses to a post I have ever read. I have great respect for those men and women of law enforcement, but please don’t wield your daddy like some kind of weapon. I believe the point the person was making is that for $10 dollars for a great day of riding and not to have to worry your rig being messed is worth the $10 and just leave it at that. Not everyone’s daddy is a cop, so $10 bucks for a little extra security is no problem. I apologize for coming of like an ***, but this comment just rubbed me wrong. There are other ways to axcess the lake like riding down the train tracks and getting on from there. Just do not get caught the mta cops will take your truck and quad. The marina has the only public launch to the lake unless you have friends that live on the lake. I know everyone on the lake and there is not enough parking in there drive ways for a truck and trailor. I live a mile away from the lake and I am the boat mechanic on the lake I still pay my $10. It is just the right thing to do.

I also posted the cost for parking and launching your atv on other poasts about riding near NY city.

If you go to Tug Hill you need to get a permit to ride on there trails and it cost alot more. There are alot of ATV parks that charge alot more than the marina.

Well maybe some of you understanding ATV guys near me will come and enjoy the lake like me and all the others that come out. I hope to meet you guys soon.

PS If you are wondering why I replied to all of my posts in a row is to make sure that the parking and atv launch charges are listed so there will not be any misunderstandings.

I do not make any money when people come to Whaley Lake or get special treatment when i get there. I am just looking to make new friends to go riding with and share a cool place to ride with them. Maybe you guys will invite me to your riding spots sometime.
