So, I have been told that you need to order a new a-arm if you rubber boot is broken..If your ball joint is, then yes they are welded in.


Why not just get some automotive tierod boots?

The boot being ripped isn't really a problem so to speak, it's just a way to keep dirt, grime, and water from seizing up the balljoint. I would measure your ball joint if you're looking at using those polyurethane boot covers.

Just wondering, but why would you want an octagon shaped one?

Just an example, I am sure some type of boot will work.
