I noticed a small hole in the rear inner CV boot. Anyone know how difficult it is to replace? If so can you give me some direction.

Outlaw "HOW TO" section. Then go down to the thread marked "How to replace inner CV boot"

Probably could use the search button also. I posted the thread about 1 month ago.......complete with pictures. It is a 07', but it should be the same.

Hiya guys,

Just wanted to let you all know that this happened to my 700xx yesterday, so it's not just a Polaris problem...

Let us know how easy it is to fix. The Outlaw one is not real bad, except for installing the new boot. The stock one has a metal inner ring inside the rubber and was a major pain to get it to seat down into the hub far enough for the circlip to go on. In fact I bent the first one.

I'll let you know what the Honda shop says.

(I bought the extended warranty and it's covered for 5 years)

WoooHooo!

From the picture, the Honda one apears to be designed more like the Polaris outer boots. In fact EPI said they have never seen a boot designed like the Polaris inner one.The Honda and Polaris outer, looks like the automotive ones.
