My old Blaster when i start it it runs but when i put the choke on it stalls and shut off.Its a 97.

The chock lets gas in so i mean when we turn the chock off it stalls and shuts off.

I thought the choke blocked air flow.....The petcock is was lets the gas in?

weird. i had a blaster and never once used choke

ok, if you cold start it with the choke on and it runs fine. then run it till its warmed up hot. then turn the choke off and it stalls the idle circuit is clogged and you need to clean the carb and clean the jets.

my carb. did that and i got tired of cleaning it and i bought a brand new one never had ne more problems

i forgot the choke lets gas lets more gas in and when the choke is on it warms up the moter and then u turn the choke on it puts more gas in.
