Is this worth it. Will it really add power?

Seems pretty pointless to me, about as useful as those throttle body spacers they sell for trucks. Might be helpful if you were doing a custom carb setup that needed the extra length to hook up the intake boot to the carb though. But as far as increasing power, it seems to be snake oil IMO.

Did you still have to move the airbox forward with the 450r carb or did that solve the problem?

I put one on my EX at the same time I ground down the header welds, so I couldnt tell if it made that much of a difference. but when I put my 450r carb on, the spacer made it so the carb wouldnt clear the gas tank.

If you plan on using the 450r carb and can get it to fit well under the tank, I think the spacer would be nice to have since the 450r carb is shorter than the stock one. I have seen a lot of people having to move their whole air box forward because of the difference. ZR pilot's adapter is by far the best way to fit that carb

yeah as far as increasing power I didnt believe it when I saw it. I guess it would be ok for the 450r carb but id rather use ZR pilots.

it MAY increase power. Theres alot to a setup than carb and filter, intake length, carb distance away all play a part. More than likely it would increase hp in a certain RPM range. JMO.....but unless you need it for another purpose I dont see it being cost effective for whatever you may/may not get out of it, again JMO

I made my own intake spacer. It looked just like that one. I barely noticed difference.
