outlaw 525 vs. Quadzilla

Ok, so I needed to buy my girlfriend a quad to ride at the dunes and I found her the perfect quad, a 1987 Lt500R quadzilla. :D :devil:

So this spring at little sahara we are going to have a race, my 540cc vs. her 530cc. I know she's got me beat on HP but the question is will she be able to launch the beast (she will launch badly) and then catch up and pass me before the end of the run???

the winner will be determined from a best 3 of 5.

My Vote is the ZILLA. I have a better Idea. 10 races and you switch bikes after 5.

The Zilla should destroy your Outlaw. A buddy had one and that thing could sit at the line well after launch and would walk on everything out there....Unless she stalls in the first 100 ft, your outlaw is toast!

yea i got some videos of my uncle with his mostered out zilla....hes a heavy guy but would fly by all the others quads including the new ktm atvs

I'm banking a lot of stalls, neutral shifts, and a general misunderstanding of the 2 stroke power band. :D

After all, my mom always told me that slow and steady wins the race..... or not.

I'm not trying to prove anything, just having a little fun. I have no doubt that given equal riders the ZILLA will destroy the outlaw.

I'm sure after having to kick it over a couple of times we will be switching anyway. :)

Zilla.

I recall racing a piped Banshee uphill at Glamis.... there were some deep whoops at the bottom that I killed him through till the bottom of the hill - had a huge jump on him, but when he hit the hill he passed me like the Banshee found reverse and was going back down.

His zilla prolly wasn't as hot as the one that abby is sitting on!

im 100% completely jealous that your wife has a zilla i want one so bad but a good one goes for a lotta money im sure its prolly well worth it though... hope she can ride... zillas=scary insane fast!

I got a pretty good deal on this one, the only down side is I had to drive 13.5 hours round trip to get it.
