Polaris Rush snowmobile

I just saw a commercial for the new Polaris Rush sled. It uses a completely new style rear suspension that looks pretty interesting. I just wonder how long it will be till the other 3 start breaking away from the "normal" skid setups. http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/090126/aqm558.html?.v=5

Talked to a Polaris dealership and they have plenty of info about it already. They said somewhere between $10500 and $11500.

i dont get this about snowmobiles...which ones are the "sport quad" of the snowmobiles.? isnt the IQ very very fast? i seen a guy on youtube with a prototype before the 09 came out and he did like 117. thats fast as hell right???

snowmobiles there are 3 catagories

trail riders with a smooth ride

drag racers not as good handling or suspension but fast top speed

and ditch bangers stiffer suspension and lots of hp but not quiet as fast as drag racers on top end

The thing about snowmobiles is that consumers can not even buy the race sleds you have to apply to the manufactures race program to buy one and they are totally different chassis and everything than the consumer sleds. Its much different than ATVS where anyone can go out and buy a race quad
