started a ramp for the pitbikes

this is like 3 or so hours of work, not quite done but its getting there

what do you guys think so far?

i need to get around to finishing my pitbike foam pit..... and a ramp woulf be good too...... :o quit reminding me of all the crap i need to finish...

how much was total cost for all the metal? Im looking to build one soon also what did you do to get the bend of the tubing for the ramp. Do you know what the angle of it was?

metal was all free as were supplies haha

haha i already have the foam (5 big polevualt mats) i got one cut up into cubes already and i still gotta cut up the other 4 mats, its easy but time consuming and it stinks like burnt hair......

whats the final angle on that ramp it looks like itd be a great flip ramp.....

yup looks good. as long as you pulled diagonals on the base to make sure it was square wich is a simple task any village idiot can do. we built a 4 footer at my buddys house. still havent finished the metal work for the face. dang work and fixen our toys

yea its all squared up, and sturdy as hell haha.

its got a few more pieces to go, and still need to come up with a surface for it.

yeah the metal mesh (i forget what its called) is real pricy at about 80 a quare yard and youd want two layers ate least .

yeah i wanted to use that stuff, or a layer of sheet metal then the mesh, but i dunno. don't have many options i guess

we just sheat metal half way up ours and thought about a rough bed linder coating or plasti dip up the middle. itd be better to hook up on then regular sheet metal

now all you need it to weld a plate on for a removable hitch then u can haul it wherever with ur lawn mower of course

after that i just need to weld a few more things, paint it and then surface it

id weld some gussets in on the up right supports it wouldnt hurt.

interesting, i didnt even notice you used rebar........ that sure would be super cheap compared to squar tubing. i havent decided if i wanna build min out of wood or metal yet?
