i see people doing stoppies alot and thats about all i havent done

could anyone give some advice on when,how,and what speed to start at?

everytime i try it my fronts just slide

go fast, hit the front brakes and lean forward. Watch yourself though so you dont go over.

any particular surface i might want to start on?

i tried it on the road 1st just to get a feel for it. Plus thats a constant variable doing it on that type of surface where it will grip the same allt he time for the most part. I cant to stoppies anywhere else down here lock them up in the sand and you just slide.

yea... i started leaning on gravel... and if you go to fast you slide and to slow gou just stop i usually do it n the middle of 2nd gear... and sit on the farthst forward part of my seat... and you have to grab the front brakes pretty hard and whammo!!! you pull of a stoppie!!!

when i learned it was a 2 fitty ex.. and it was a 91... but once u get comfy at that speed u learn where your weight needs to be and can mess around with different speeds and what not...

i learned on a 250ex and now i ride a 4 hundo... but yea once you get comfy at that speed try playin with the trick as a whole... differnt speeds, extensions, turns that type of thing
