hello guys!

So heres the deal, i´ve got itp baja 10" rear wheels with maxxis razr 2 tires on them.

Thinking of trading or selling my wheels and tires for some 8" instead. The wheels are so big and the tires hook up in all corners .. in some cases i almost flip over.

I only ride motocross tracks so I´m wondering if It´s better for me to get 8" ?? what advantages does 8" rear wheels make?

I thought thats the stand size for mx? 8in seem to be too small and will roll tire easer than 10in less sidewall with 10in. IMO.

Generally for mx you would run an 8 or 9 inch rear wheel. With the 8 inch you will get a little more sidewall flex, and less chance of bending a wheel. However, many riders run 9 inch wheels because it is what comes stock on most sport quads. For example the YFZ comes with 9 inch rear wheels, where the Suzuki comes with 8's.

I've always been a fan of the 8" rear wheels for mx. stays pretty predictable and easier on the wheels. the more sidewall is nice too for absorbing whoops and jumps
