one more jeting question

i have asked about jetting in the past but i forgot to say that i do not have an airbox lid because when i took it to the shohp they didnt give mine back, if i put an airbox lid could this possibly solve my problem? it cuts out at about half throttle and pops and the plug is also very dark when i change it almost black

without looking at it sounds like your running rich to me if you put a lid on it you will just richen it up more and could make things worse without knowing what jets you have in it right now its hard to say do you know what size your jets are pilot and main and where your neddle is set at if your only at half throttle sounds like neddle and pilot concerns how does it run at wot.........

i cant even get it to WOT i dont know what jets im running i planned on taking it to get rejetted anyways because i dont know a thing about jetting with the jet sizes and all
