Thats a quadtech hood.

I use to have one on my EX and they are well expensive!!

ya thats a quadtech hood and its only $110 brand new and im guessing its not going to cost $40 to ship from quadtech.

these were $200 new from quadtech. i say "were" because they're not made anymore. also, i believe this is a quadtech look-alike. looks like a very high quality piece though.

edit: the 450r PLASTIC hood is $110 from QT. the 450r smooth CF hood is $200.

Im glad you know so much, as a matter of fact call Bill at QT and tell him you want a cf hood for your 400ex for $110. im betting he laughs.

Thank you im glad there are some people on here who understand that when somethiung is no longer made the price goes up to get these parts. but i agree its not a QT its a look alike. Also it doesnt even matter though this is SOLD!!
