I figure I would start a thread on my sons 09 build. Predator 90. Be sure to let me know what you think as this goes along.

List of parts:
DC dual a arms
DC antivibe stem
DC round housing swing arm
400ex front spindles hubs and brake's
durablue +4 axle
Elka shocks front and rear

WRH national built motor and exhaust still in the works.
I'm sure there will be more I'll list as I go.

I also want to give a big thanks to Billy Holt and Dave Carter for taking my many phone calls and answering many questions.

First pic just got parts back from powder coating

Good to see another Predator 90 being resurected! Our new frame should bee here next week, so we can get started on our rebuild too!!

Please keep posting pics! I will be sure to show Deric, he will be excited to see yours whe it is done!

I like the looks of that steering stem! We may have Dave build us a custom one too, the extra thick stem helps! Too much flex in the Can Am stem we have now.

What color plastic are you using?

Any plans for the seat? Custom Gripper cover?

What kind/color Nerfs, Bumpers?

Use Photobucket.....it automatically reduces them to 800x600 for posting. And with one click under the thumbnail the url is copied and all you have to do is paste it in your post.

some more pics. I am trying to find a graphics kit. Any one know who could make one for a predator. It sounds like our motor will be done in 2 or 3 weeks. Also looking at getting some flex bars or maybe the soft bars if there available soon. Thanks for the replies.

the ground was so soft we couldn't keep the mud off. These pic's were right after we washed it.

What kind of swingarm and axle are you running?

To fill in the holes where the fake headlights go I used a thin sheet of aluminum. I traced the outline of the headlight inserts onto them, cut them out with a metal shears just a little larger
then the outline. And attached them with screws.

I got the idea from a friend we race with, he made them for their Outlaw 450.

WOW, it really looks good though!!!

That DC Long Travel front end looks awesome!!!

And I bet It that 2009 Predator 90 weighs less then an
Apex too!

Thanks for the comments. Its not a 09 I messed up when I started the thread I meant our predator build in 09. Sorry! The swing arm is a dc roundhouse with a +4 dura blue axle. Now if I can find some one to make a graphics kit for us.

Derics dad thanks for the advice on the inserts I think I'll try that. My brother works at a fab shop so I'll see what he can come up with.

03sp500 Thats a bad looking predator. Where did you find the eyes at. Now If I could find a set of them and talk Brad Loomis into making me a carbon fiber nose my boy would flip out.

Both of those look great. Can't wait to get my sons 2004 redone. It will be a long term project, but worth it when it is done.

I took some fancy sheet metal I got at the hardware store, and just bent them over the old lenses leaving enough to cut and shape into tabs to mount in the same locations, it was actually not that bad.
