450r rear shock on a 400

hey guys, i am looking for the front 450r shocks for my 400 and i see that you can buy the rear 450 shock dirt cheap on bay.
does it work on the 400?
is it a good upgrade?
are people doing this?
i never read on here about people doing this.... any help?

people have done it but the rear shock is not any better then the stock rear 400ex shock

yea its not worth it just get your rear revalved/reprung

Yep just go get your rear revalved and resprung by GT Thunder and get his link and you will be golden. You can also get your 450R fronts revalved and sprung by them also and they will work great.
