This might seem like sort of a n00b question but I'm having a lot of trouble getting the lock nut off of the front sprocket. I'm getting ready to install a 15t to compliment my full Looney Tuned dual system w/ programmer and intake and I'm frustrated.

Have any of you had trouble getting this massive nut off? I'm not a very big guy but it feels like i'm working against something. And yes, I flattened the lock-washer 360 degrees. Thanks!

Thanks man! It turns out I was paranoid because my friend and I got it off today. I used a 1/2" ratchet and a 1 1/16" socket with the handle from a floor jack as leverage and we popped it off.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I was told it would come off with a long handle but with a impact its real easy

Yeah no doubt, the fun part is finding that socket in 3/8" so i can use it with my impact.

Do you happen to know what type of speed increase i'll see with that larger sprocket? I'm only putting it on with anticipation of the big 3 upgrade but i'm curious how much more speed i'll get per gear?

lol i dont know what they put on those things but it took someone twice my size to pry it off with 4 feet of leverage on the wrench! I did get my 15t on tho and i'm pretty excited to try it out. Now I just have to wait for my programmer and intake so I can put it back together.

Any words of wisdom on a standard 3-button programmer?

On my old kawie it took me a couple days to take that thing off, and that is with an impact wrench. Using a torch, penetrating oil, and an impact wrench running on 120psi it finally came off.
