Does anyone know if it's possible to have a street legal quad in Illinois? If it is possible, what all do i need to get and where could i find these things, thanks alot, Steve

as a matter of fact there is an actual street legal quad out there for sale its made by BMW i think and its a 1150, it goes over 100mph and sells for about 15,000

you'd probly need like flat track tire, mirrors blinker? i doon't know but thats what i would guess....

one time a cop told me to be street legal you gotta have 2 headlights, 2 tailights/braklights and that was all he said. i doubt this tho but i don't think its too hard to get a street legal quad here. like some other people said contact somebody who would know. make sure when you find out you post it on here cuz i would love to make a street legal quad with a crotch rocket motor in it.

not 15,000.00....but 25,000.00...according to the article in ATV Sport...BTW also says about 99mph.
Weird thing is ...that in the 2 pics ..I see no headlight .

Independent rear suspension looks interesting ..

Edit:,,.I looked again ..the headlights are probably
tucked the nose ..in the small like vent looking areas
in each side ...dual headlights perhaps ...

someone should post pics of the BMW quad. it sounds cool.

around here the cops bearly ever come out this way so we ride quads dirtbikes and a bunch of other stuff on the highways and streets and no one says a word or even blinks and eye when they see us.
