I got a more or less stock 400ex, outerwear's air box lid, twin air filter, jetted, big gun rev box. I need more grunt to get the jumps right out of a corner, im in 3rd going into the turn, I hardly got time to shift into 4th and get some speed up into the jump. Need something to get some more bottom end grunt. Whats my options?

I will make 2 suggestions, I have not yet to try the sparks key, this may help or possibly 1 tooth smaller on the front sprocket

Install the Sparks Advance Key. I have it and it does give you more bottom end. You can also drop a tooth on the front and it'll have even more. I did both and you gotta fight to keep the front end down.

I have the big gun ignition module, I cant run a sparks key with it, considering that's what the ignition module does... I am 1 tooth down on the front already, which helped it out a lot. A slip on and a cam will take my power band higher, exactly the opposite of what I want.

well the best thing i can think of then is a small overbore and a stage 1 cam like a 416 and hot cam stage 1 or a mild web cam
