Man chain it up and lock it somewhere on the frame with a heavy duty lock, and buy one of those motion lights that will come on if somebody comes near it. Since most quads are stolen at night:D

you can get them at motosport.com or im sure at any motorcycle/atv dealer. they run around 30-40.00 and attatch to your brake disc

theifs are looking for something easy and fast. depending where you have your bike stored at it could be just as simple as parking a vehicle in front of them. we have our bikes in our garage but it is seprated by a wall so there is only one way to get them out. in order to get them out you have to move my truck. which is more trouble than what it is worth.

Yes, I keep my atv in a garage. I turn the lock on the garage handle to lock the door from the outside, there is 2 doors and 2 windows. they can easly get into it if they wanted too. I usually put a chain through the sprocket and disc and lock it that way does that sounds good? Or........

Thieves don't like having attention drawn to them. They're expensive, but if your piece of mind is worth it, I'd suggest a heavy-duty cable lock with an alarm.

Often a lock is enough to deter a thief, but not always. I've heard of thieves cutting through locks and chains, it only takes a few seconds with a large bolt-cutter. But not too many are willing to stick around when a 110dB alarm is going off after they cut through a chain in your garage or trailer.

These ones go off if the cable is cut, you can get 8ft or 15ft.

There are some that go off if the lock itself is disturbed. The website I found was based in China, but I'm sure there are some that are easy to obtain stateside.

I'm not sure if this set has a motion alarm, or if it's just the cable.

A google search for alarm locks or alarm cable locks should provide you with all the information you need.
