Works spring kit

I am looking to buy the works shocks spring kit for my 2005 trx450r. It is a triple rate spring kit that goes on your stock shocks does anyone have them if so how do they work?

man i've been wondering the same thing!!! does anyone know if you can send in the springs with the shock when you have it revalved and see if they can put it on the shock?? and cause you can't put the springs on there without having the shock apart?!

the works spring kit is ok, the only springs i have ever seen broken are peps and works. i prefer eibach or hyperco springs, a dual rate setup on the stock shock works best, because you don't have enuff room for tripple rate, unless you zps.

you can install spring kits on the stock shocks without taking the shocks apart!

k well then. who all makes spring kits?? and mind sharing how you put them on in a nutshell??

put the shock in a vise upside down, loosen the preload nuts,
(if u don't have a spring compressor) use a large flat head screw driver and compress the spring under the lock cup, remove the c shaped locks one at a time, pull the spring and the plastic cover off. the spring kit comes with a new lock.

i know gt thunder sells spring kits, i am sure there are several more.

We sell a triple rate zps or a dual rate preload kit for the 450r. All of our spring kits come with additional crossovers for tuning the spring curve.

for how much?? on the 450r shocks?

$300 for our spring kit it comes with billet upper spring retainer, three springs, billet spring separators, extra floating cross overs, and new billet lower spring retainer.
