I was wondering if anybody has sent there factory 450r shocks to Derisi Racing and let them rebuild them, i was wondering if it's worth the money or just save up and buy some aftermarket kind

i have, they are good...almost like aftermarket...his turnaround time is a bit long...i like gt thunders rebuilds a little better and his turn around time is a lot quicker, but he comes off a little harsh where santo is like you long time best friend to talk to...

speedyquad I couldnt agree more, I have talked to most shock builders and Laz seems short with you and Santo seems to welcome you more. What kind of riding will you be doing? Ask botht he same questions and see what happens. I found that Santo knows more about sand shock setups

it don't really matter to us, they are both equally as skilled at setting up for mx as they are for xc....

Derisi re-builds are amazing. They worked great for me. Santo does a great job, it may take a bit longer, but it is WELL worth the wait.

Good choice. Santo knows his stuff but it is hard to wait sometimes close to a month for the parts to come back. The only reason this happened last time is because he had to order a rear spring for me. You will not be disappointed with his work!

cannot go wrong with derisi. Like everyone said, he is like talking to your best friend. You will literally need to tell him you need to go otherwise he wont let you hang up the phone.

As for me, I had my shocks turned around in about 8 days. As in the day i shipped them was day 1. If you are really pushed for time, let him know. He will work magic.
