My wheel was wobbling.. could this have cause the wobble? I have a new axle on order regardless, just curious.

Always wrap your axle nut in electrical tape. This will keep it from ever coming loose while riding.

Si. Check your hubs and your axle bearings also.

I got a new hub and still wobble.. axle bearing carrier can cause wobble? If so, this is getting expensive! I hope this fixes the issue, would suck to re-install it again.

sounds like you already got it all apart but if you haven't then you should be able to move the axle and bearing carrier within the housing if the carrier is bad just like if you were to lose a wheel bearing on a car or skateboard or rollerskate

I removed everything with ease.. wasnt hard to get the axle out at all, just some coaxing with a hammer...
