just a little info for ya take it for what its worth.
do not get fully adjustable shocks on the 300 you will lose travel about an inch or so and this is to much to lose when the 300 is limited to begin with.

setup's that i have tried include axis shocks, works, elka, tcs. out of those the works performed the best, i had to send out the elka twice because of blown seals and just horrible valving. this was for the standard travel a-arm setup. I can't explain any reason why the works performed better but they absolutely without a doubt performed better than the others. the others always seemed way to stiff even after being sent out to get revalved. i simply just blame it on the lack of travel that the shocks have and therefor most try to compensate for setting the shocks fairly stiff, a little to much for my liking

i have tried lonestar, burgard, laeger suspension components, i liked the laeger the best. I have rode a couple conversions with a linkage system on the 300 and i felt that it was an advantage.

I would recommend looking for a 300 that has LT a-arms that were made for the 300, i have seen and rode some of the 400ex setups they are nice but i have found the true lt a-arms with lt shocks preform very well and you will have a noticable advantage in setup and design.
