fuel mixture screw

Good day I lost my fuel mixture screw becaus it was to loose and fell out. I need a temporary replacement and my budy has one off of his 2004 or 05 400ex (newer styles) And I was wondering if it would fit on a 2002? Ty

it should. i think the only thing that they changed on them was gearing and plastics

Thank you. And the gearing you mean, its no longer a flat head screw driver that you need you need the spetial tool?

It'll work. The difference between yours and his is the shape of the head if it's from a 2005. The 2004 will be a slotted head and the '05 will be a "D" shaped head on the screw.
