i believe burgard sells a "heavy duty" ball joint, along with the other top a arm manufacturers.. i know.. those lower burgards look a little scary! :p

i just received my stator ball joints for laegers a arms. my arms are real old, i have been using the mazda truck tie rod end but they kept bending, so i went with the stators. the rods are too big to go through arm. they look like they are only 1/16 of an inch off, should i take a die set and trim the joint, or try to bur out the arm? any body had any experience with this? any help would really be appreciated as im trying to get my little nephew on this bike for a race saturday.
thanks bryan

the stator balljoints are a 16mm shank; mine measure 14mm on mine (i am on the hunt for new ones too). i know hydrodynamics sells replacement joints, but i haven't contacted them to see what their shank diameter is.. you might think about trying that.

I ran into this too. Me being dumb didn't measure the size and just ordered replacements from LSR. When I got them the were too big I'm like WTF these should fit but then I got to looking around and realized I actually have Burgard A-arms now.
