there was a guy on the connection forums trying to sell a yzf450 engine for like $3XXX.00, I though that was VERY cheap!!!

I wonder how the YZ450 would do in a quad since it only has 4 gears? IMHO it sure isn't a woods racer.

I know at east coast atv (http://www.eastcoastatv.com/) They sell the crf450 motor. Its probably not the best way to go becuase they sell them aroud $4,500 a piece. If you can't find the crf motor for cheeper then you wanted it, look for a the YZ426. Both geat motors though.

I just bought one with all electricts, carb, and everything u would need from the bike to put into a quad frame for 2900 brand new.

It was just luck that i saw it and when i called the guy he told me he bought a 450f brand new off his friend because his friend needed money, and he decided to part it out and i said i will give you 2900 for all the stuff i needed and he said he would take it, the only way you are going to find one for that price though is if you have the money in hand and have patience, i looked for the past 3 months before finding this one.
