Pipe Help

Found a small hole hole(about the size of a pencil eraser) on my PT trx 6 pipe.....

Can it be welded or patched up?
mig or tig welding?

Will it hurt the performance if I don't do anything to the pipe?

It cam be done easily by a competent welder - take care to prevent the filler meter from protruding into the chamber
