can anyone tell me what to do with the wires to the thumb throttle when I put on a twist? I am taking my motion pro off of a 400 and want to put it on a 07 450er. I have purchased the cable. Is there anything else I need to know?
thanks:cool:

You need to follow the wires to the plug in on the wiring harness and cut and splice them together.

Oh thank you!
My best guess was to do that but I really didn't want to fry anything.
Thank you again

ok - so that answers part of my previpous post I guess. I have completely removed the wires from the hood. What do these wires do? I have not noticed any difference. I am thinking these wires were for the no throttle start process?

It's called the TORS(Throttle over ride sensor) I believe. It senses the throttle position and if it ever gets stuck wide open it is supposed to kill the motor.

Also, you can't completely remove them. You have to tie them together.

Thanks for the feedback. I have now joined those wires and my other problem has disappeared. i.e. Backfiring and stalling on twist. I guess that TORS is doing it's job again.

Cheers
