Stumped....

I have a 2001 Honda 400ex and it will not move. I have double check the clutch components and still will not move. If I disconnect the clutch cable and put it in gear still will not move. I can shift thru all gears. I have not checked the trans but to make a long story short it was creeping but now no creep.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would remove the chain to determine if it's the rear end or the engine/trans itself. Then troubleshoot from there. Maybe you can already tell?

I think you need a new clutch. Your question is worded a little funny.

Tranny shifts. Put quad on jack off the ground and then shift into gear it jumps forward and then stops. Engage the clutch still does nothing. Acts like it's hanging it up.
