I have a duncan 05 head with plus 1 valves. I want to at least get a 470 BBK but Im also considering a stroker crank or doing both. This bike will be raced at the A level in worcs open and some itp quadcoss open. I want a quad that pulls from bottom to top with little hit. Is a BBK more reliable than the stroker? What should I do? What is the difference in performance?

Both are pretty reliable. The stroker will rev faster but both will make good power. BBK is easier to install.

the stroker will not rev faster it will be a torque motor, stroker longer rod more rotating mass, big bore more snap and more mid range power
