Ignition coil wire replacement?

Does anyone know how to remove the complete wire from the ignition coil? Is it bolted on? Not the spark plug cap, but the wire coming from the coil?

I bought some aftermarket wires (hot wires) that go directly into the ignition coil. Rather than splice the wires together I wanted to replace. Is this possible? The wire is really seated into the coil..

this may be a bit late but what you'll need to do is cut the plug wire even with the coil and afterwards use a pick to carefully remove the old wire. caution should be taken because there is a brass screw hidden down there. once you've gotten it all cleaned to satisfaction you simply install the new wire using a glue to secure/seal it.
