I found a nitrous kit on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dirt...Q
5fParts

what do you guys think about this? i mean it shouldn't be enough to hurt anything but do you think that you would actually gain any power? would it fry anything?
I have a stock motor with jetted carb and 10.8 je piston with yoshi exhaust.

what do you guys think?

i think that it would just be cool to say i have nitro on my EX! lol but would it work...thats the question

BTW i have a 400ex

I've done nitrous on a quad before, I can help you, but your link doesn't work.

Give me the auction number, and I'll check it out and tell you if it contains everything you need.

Oh, one of THOSE kits.

Injecting nitrous only can be dangerous. Having more oxygen than fuel causes a lean condition (do a search to find all the dangers of lean conditions).

However, that doesn't mean your engine will blow up as soon as you hit the button. So here's my philosophy on those kits: anything that is mild enough to be "safe", probably isn't going to give you any gains. If it DOES give you noticable gains, it means you're running too rich all-around, so you'd probably see better perfornance fixing the rich condition rather than nitrous.

The end result? You might see 2 horsepower, maybe.

my brother had a boondockers kit, was spraying 20 hp. on the dyno it was spraying 10 hp. the end result after a couple months of use approx. 15-20 shots the rod came out the front case!!! just a thought, i wouldn't do it!
