Twist Grip throttle conversion

Who's converted their throttle to a twist grip like those on dirt bikes?

What is the best kit to buy for doing this?

i tried it on my banshee when i was a kid and i did not like it. went back to thumb throtttle.

I've been riding street bikes and dual sports for the last several years. I like the twist grip throttle. Better than cramped thumb.

i used a motion pro kit and the turbo model and it comes with instructions and the throttle tube and cable you will have to take the end plugs of the bars and get dirtbike handle grips i have one and love it fun for wheeling and if your used to dirtbikes you will love this hope that helps :)

I run a Terry Cable Dual Gasser ($120.00). It's both a twist and thumb throttle. You can lock the twist throttle and use just the thumb or unlock it for both.

I have a MotionPro. I absolutly love it! I prefer it more than a thumb throttle! Real easy to install, and took me only 2 days to get use to it and I was running harder than if I where with a thumb throttle. PS: I never rode a single dirt bike before I stalled the twist throttle.

They were an Ebay purchase over a year ago. They cost me around $15.00 if I remember correctly.

i have twist throttle on my LT250r and i may change it back to thumb since i got my 400ex i like the thumb throttle better, more control easier to use

I agree when ever i get on anything with a twist throttle i feel like im going to wheelie off the back by accidently twisting the throttle to much. I prefer the control i have with the thumb throttle.

but.... that terry cable dual gasser does look pretty cool
