I have a 03 400ex and I am doin a conversion to a 450r brake light with a actual brake light that gets brighter when i tap the brake. Anyways I bought the switch for my lever and i got a used brake light off my buddy. But it has no plug in the back of it.( i believe its called a pig tail) I can't locate a plug anywhere at All!!, SO i thought i could maybe solder wires to the three plugs. I know the left one is ground, middle is parking light, and right is the actual brake light. SO i tried to first touch them to a battery to see it if it worked and it don't! I tried flippin them and everything. So i don't want to solder it if it isn't gonna work. But if i unplug my buddies light on his 450r and plug it into his it lights fine. Can someone help with a plug or some advise on it? PLZZ

if there is no pig tail how were you connecting them to the battery.

I just ran wires and I was holding them on the little stubs where the pigtale goes.

I have tryed stuff like that and got bad connections, theres no type of crimp on connector that would slid over the pins on the brake light.

NO not that I have found That was what i was thinking Like a wire connector or something that I can slide on the pegs, but nothing Alls i need is a pigtale. But i can't find one anywhere when you buy a tail light it comes with one, and i can't find them seperately anywhere

if you have the pins right and you tested it on your buddys bike it should work if you solder them
