What do you have to do with the efi since you have no batt?

the kick start doesnt eliminate the battery. they havent figured this out yet on the kfx450. so the battery and everything stays.. you just add a kickstarter :ermm:

im not sure then. the only way i would think possible, is to get the kx450f wiring harness or modify the kfx450s harness to run off of a capacitor. similar to the big bikes where the 1st kick charges the capacitor for the fuel injection, and the 2nd kick turns the motor over to get it to fire.

then again i dont really know this stuff too well :p

looks like they are still running a battery along with kickstart cause the box is still there. Also they now mount there oil cooler behind the radiator.

You can get rid of the battery but it will cost a lot of money. IMHO it isn't worth the money. But a kick start as back up would be nice.

actually its still never proven that the kxf parts will work on the kfx. I was the one the started all the research on it over at kfx450hq but never actually ordered any parts.

ditto^^ i am 100% positive on that. the bike harness and all that rectifier crap didnt work from the bike to the quad

I think the only way to get it to work is to use every piece of the dirtbike electircal system. The means the flywheel and the stator since im pretty sure the stator has an exciter coil that give it the extra boost to run the fuel pump when its started.

kawi keeps smokin stators trying to use the db set up im sure by this weekend youll see there bikes with no batteries or something different
