I bought a used 2004 TRX450R and man have I had do some fixing on it, from crank to electrical, infact it was even missing the condensor and that is where this is leading. On the plug in to the rectifier it has 3 yellow, 1 red and 1 green wire going to it the green wire and 1 yellow wire is broken or has been cut. The yellow wire is the one going to the row that has 2 pins in it and if you are looking at the plug it is on the left. I would like to know what these wires do, I can see by the wiring schematic that the yellow wire goes to the altenator and the green wire ties into the tail light and the carburator heater but I would just like to know if they are needed as the quad had been running upto the crank locking up.
