gas on outside of carb

I looked at my carb the other day after i got finished riding and it was dripping with gas. It runs fine but idk how gas is getting out of the carb.

was it standng up on the grab bar?

it could be a loose screw, a bad o-ring, or your drain screw on your bowl could be loose.

* floats set too low
* float(s) have dropped (one or both have holes in them)
* needle and seat are stuck with something (sand or dirt) causing them to stay open

all the above will cause the float bowl to overfill and run out the over flow tubes or vents including flooding the motor.
