I think the lever is, but there will still be a chunk of metal there. I can look when I get home.

wats the benifits of hot start,does it actually help anything?if so what?

The 04 and 05 came factory with a hot start. It is a little plunger in the carb that is pulled out when you push the lever. It leans out the air/fuel mixture so it will start easier.
