I think that Texans are a different breed from the rest of us humans. I mean have you ever seen the lack of XC racing in Texas. Their form of XC racing involves racing from tree to tree. They have to wrap the trees like Goalposts at a football game. Heck, most of the quad riders in texas have never ridden through trees closer than 9 feet apart, how do you think they get away with runnung 50" wide all the time.

Us Texans are just into MX more than XC. We usually try to keep the cows off the track, but this one was an exception...

MX is just plain better than XC. XC is for people who are to scared to leave the ground.

Hehe, naw, j/k, any kind of racing is cool... I would like to try XC but I would rather stick w/ MX.

I run a little MX but not much. On some of the OCCRA tracks there are MX sections and I ran the first Caddo last season with TQRA. That was my first ever MX race, came in 6th overall in the Open Amateur class on a bone stock piped 400ex. They've got some pic's of me on the website.

You plannin on runnin any of the next TQRA series races? I'm PLANNING on racing the whole series but that usually doesn't seem to work out for me. Maybe I"ll head over in your direction for some of the XC races... I would like to give it a try sometime.

I may try and race the Caddo races at least. I like Hunter, he was really friendly and told me how to ride his track and what gears and stuff to hit the jumps in. I met Razorback up there last year he's a pretty cool guy. He beat me in the first moto and I beat him in the second. I'll post a schedule of the Occra series when they get it on the net. Should be a good series next year. I love racing period i don't care if it's racing around a tree in circles I love it. I spend every spare minute thinking about racing.

That would be realy cool to meet someone else from this site. I know for a fact that I'll meet Jeff and Marty and Rico @ Loretta's next year. We should have a big ride somewhere for the Texas and Okie guys like Wolf Pen Gap or something.
